A Dog Who Has Never Been Allowed Inside Before, Takes His First Nap On Soft Bed

Sundae had spent her life in a backyard filled with junk and a garage that was freezing cold.

The Country Roads Animal Rescue Society saved Sundae from a hoarding situation, in Oklahoma City. She is a mix of coonhound and Labrador retriever. She gave birth to puppies without experiencing the comfort of a home.

That all changed when her foster mom showed her the value of a bed. Sundaes face lit up with relief as she settled down for some rest finally feeling safe.

Her foster mom named her Sundae because it perfectly matched her personality and the beautiful colors on her face resembling chocolate, vanilla and caramel. Initially cautious around men Sundae started to warm up to them after her foster mom left a pair of her boyfriends shorts on the bed – Sundaes spot.

Nowadays Sundae is the girl. She loves cuddling with her mom every chance she gets. "She prefers sleeping to me as possible " wrote Mugglequeen. "I think shes making up for years of not receiving any affection."

After long, without care Sundae is finally receiving the medical attention she deserves. Her veterinarian discovered that she is heartworm positive and needs work but overall remains healthy.
Sundaes adorable puppies are currently being looked after by families.

During this time Sundae patiently waits for the perfect family to come along and fall in love, with her.

We hope that it won't be too long before someone opens their heart to this mother dog and gains a companion to cuddle with.
