High School Cross-Country Group Brings Shelter Dogs Along Early Morning Run

The St. Joseph High School Cross Country Team decided to take Santa Barbara County Animal Shelter's dogs out for walks as their big problem is to have very little exercise.

Every dog would go with a runner every morning. You can see in the video below the dogs were taken out by the team for runs for a couple miles around the shelter. You can also see that the dogs are having so much fun and enjoying the runs with the team.

We hope that this act inspires more schools and teams to do the same things with the shelter dogs. Watch the video below.
